Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Campakaháre sajáye tomáre
Basábo vedite áj
Je já khushi bale baluk ámáre
Se kathá shuńe' kii káj

Ámi geṋthechi málatiimálá
Sájáye varańad́álá
Puśpe patre varńashobháte
Udvel rturáj

Aekatánete dundubhi báje
Alakavihárii dhyánáloke ráje
Jata ávilatá moha-jat́ilatá
Lukolo peye áj

Having decked You with magnolia wreath.
Today I'll seat upon raised platform.
Let them tell me what they please...
There's no use hearing that talk!

A garland of malatii I've strung,
Having arrayed a wicker tray for welcome.[nb 2]
With color-beauty, with leaf and with blossom,
Effusive is the King of Seasons.

Bugles of war ring out in harmony;
The Cloud Walker reigns o'er meditation-beams.
All shyness and any complex of infatuation,
Now it's found to be tucked off.
